7 Steps to Ignite Your Brilliance & Sparkle

Do you ever have days when you wake up and don’t want to get out of bed? AND the world seems alien and nothing is working out for you?

I have. I know what it feels like to feel so low that I have wanted to give up.  I know what it feels like to feel flat and lack the motivation to carry on.  I have the T-Shirt and badge for procrastination.  It’s easier to do the cleaning or create pretty pictures on Canva than it is to do the thing that really needs doing!

If you have found yourself feeling or doing any of the above, let me tell you that it’s OK to feel like that.  Our emotions are real to us at the time we feel them.  And it is important to acknowledge them in order for us to accept them and move forward .

There is a better way.  A way out of the darkness, stuckness and chaos.  A way that will make you smile, gain balance in your life and SPARKLE.  It can also help you feel that things are working out for you.   It will help you to gain clarity and purpose and give you something to remember and work towards.

Kathy and I have both experienced the magic that comes from helping people to live consciously rather than live life on autopilot, overwhelm and being stuck.   Living consciously can improve all aspects of our lives; our communication, our relationships, our business and personal lives, which benefits our overall well-being.

Why is this important?  You will become more successful, more effective, more productive and happier when you use and learn about SPARKLE.

SO

What’s holding you back?

What’s stopping you from fulfilling your potential?

Sometimes “life” gets in the way and we get overloaded with living on autopilot or making excuses for not being happy  or placating ourselves with the wonderful phrase “when I have…the time, the money…”. I’m sure you can fill in the blank with your words that follow “I’ll do it when I have…”

That’s where the 7 steps to ignite your brilliance and SPARKLE can help you make the changes to improve your life.

When you know who you are and what you want you automatically shine!

When you don’t know ……

You feel frustrated and have internal conversations that sound like “I’m not good enough” or “what if people don’t like me” or  “everyone else knows what they are doing and where they are going”, or “I’m stuck and don’t know how to move forward”.

Here’s an overview of our 7 Steps to S.P.A.R.K.L.E., which cover the key aspects of living consciously, and enable you to shine:

SELF-AWARENESS

What is self-awareness? As human beings we have the wonderful ability to manage how we think, feel and react to any situation. It allows us to separate our reality from our imagination, which is where our power lies. When you are able to understand what you are thinking, you can begin to change your mind on how you feel, and build your confidence and trust in yourself.

When you learn that your inner critic is created by your ego and negative thoughts, you begin to understand your strengths and weaknesses. When you are self-aware you will gain the clarity you need to live consciously with joy and freedom. Becoming self-aware gives us the power to examine our own thoughts.

PERSPECTIVE

You don’t see things as they are. You see them as you are.

Live life fully while you’re here. Experience everything. Take care of yourself and your friends. Have fun, be crazy, be weird. Go out and screw up! You’re going to anyway, so you might as well enjoy the process.  –   Tony Robbins

I love this quote by Tony Robbins. He sums up a philosophy to life that is conscious living.  Make mistakes, challenge your thinking and change it. We all think differently based on our background, education, parental opinions or experiences. We have between 60,000 and 70,000 thoughts a day. According to Dr Joe Dispenza, 90% of those thoughts are the same. If you are thinking the same thoughts daily, you are going to get the same results. In order to change and get different results, you have to change the way you think.

Are you resistant to changing your perspective? How do you react when faced with challenging

situations?

ACTION

By taking action you achieve results.  You can’t get to somewhere by thought alone. Take the initiative.  We are born to take action. It’s in our DNA to move and react to situations. We learn to walk, to talk, to feed ourselves. These are all actions that we take in order for us to develop and grow.  To achieve anything, action has to be taken. You can think about and discuss a situation continuously. Here’s the truth of the matter. Unless you do something mentally or physically, nothing will change.

You have to change your mindset first, before taking physical action.

REALITY

Let’s begin with how you feel and think.  What is going on in your life? Everyone’s reality is different. It doesn’t mean that someone with a different reality is wrong. Reality is best seen from a place of surety, confidence and acceptance.

Reality is what is happening for you at any given moment. It is your thoughts, feelings, perspective, personal experience, beliefs and values. It’s what you consider to be your truth, your attitude and aspirations.

Do you feel in control of where you are going?

Are you confident to ask for what you want?

Think about how your reality sits with your present situation. Are you being honest with yourself? What can you improve?

If you want someone to do something for you, how do you ask them?

Do you beat about the bush? Or are you very forthright, maybe too blunt?

Being able to understand how someone may react to your request is a skill that can be learned, which leads us very nicely on to knowledge.

KNOWLEDGE

Who are you?  What do you want?  Where have you been?

They say knowledge is power. In reality true power is about knowing who you are, your strengths, weaknesses, feelings and emotions. Build a team of supporters around you.  Surround yourself with people you can count on.  Recognise who the toxic people are in your life.  Ask the question “How do I feel when I am with you, do I need you in my life?”

Acknowledge your weaknesses.  Whatever you do, don’t go down the road of the “fake it til you make it” rule, which tells you to imitate being confident and competent until you take on these qualities. This is an outdated thought process. Why? You are not an actor and it will show that you are unsure of yourself.  You may also come across as arrogant.  Also, if you believe that being fake is authentic, how do you think you can build on that concept? Be true to your thoughts and feelings.  Be honest with yourself. Take the time to get to know you.

The outcome of igniting your spark is that you will LOVE and ENJOY your life.

It is possible to learn how to Ignite Your Brilliance and Sparkle.  When you make the decision to take that step… and sparkle – you attract great things and people into your life.

I’d like to leave you with one thought:

YOU can’t be a success and be a secret

YOU were born to sparkle, leave a little sparkle wherever YOU go.

Kathy and I believe that living life the S.P.A.R.K.L.E way is how we are meant to live our lives.
